ANYONE who remembers university halls with horror can sympathise.

A student has advertised for 12 staff to help her through university - including a maid, butler, housekeeper and not one but three footmen.

The unknown daughter of an Indian billionaire has even been bought a mansion to live in, according to the Scottish Sun, instead of slumming it in halls of residence.

The student wants a private chef, maid and a chauffeur to take her from the mansion to her lectures at St Andrews.

Earlier this summer an ad for the maid asked for a “an outgoing, cheerful and energetic personality”.

They’ll be responsible for “waking principal up, liaising with other staff regarding routine and schedule, assisting with grooming, wardrobe management and personal shopping”.

The butler will oversee the team, while the footmen will be responsible for serving all meals daily, laying the table and keeping the house clean.

They will also be required to open doors for the student “wherever possible”, the ad said.

The ads were posted via posh agency Silver Swan recruitment.

It said: “The family are very formal so want experienced staff.”

The roles are said to pay about £30,000 a year.
