A kind-hearted cakemaker from Glasgow was inspired to "put a smile" on the faces of people going through a difficult time after she was hired to make cakes for a special reason.
Demi's Cake Pops creates unique cakes in the style of lollipops which can be decorated and personalised to suit any occasion.
And Lauren Brownlie from Glasgow chose the baker to create a batch of the stunning sweet treats to give to her mum who had just finished her cancer treatment.
Demi was so touched by the idea that she decided to make the order for free.
Lauren said: "When Demi told me she didn't want me to pay I thought it was such a nice gesture.
"I gave her a thank you card and a small gift instead of the money and she was so grateful, messaging me and thanking me when it was her who made mine and my mum's week.
"Considering the amount of effort put into them, it was such a thoughtful thing to do."
Demi would now like to repeat the goodwill gesture for others who perhaps know someone going through a difficult time or coming to the end of their treatment.
In a Facebook post she wrote: "A girl ordered cake pops for her mum who is finishing up her cancer treatment. I decided last week when I got this request that I would like to make cake pops for anyone who knows someone going through a hard time or coming to the end of their treatment that use can now order them for free.
"I do think a little cake pop can put a smile on anyone's face, so message me if you would look to get these for someone you know #standuptocancer #youdidit."
Demi's Cake Pops makes a variety of flavours and styles including Lotus Biscoff which contain biscoff spread & broken up biscoff biscuits.
