A RUN organised in memory of Glasgow businesswoman Moira Jones who was murdered ten years ago will take place next month.
The fourth Moira Fund 5k will take place on Sunday, October 28 in Queen’s Park, on the city’s South Side.
The fund was set up following Moira’s murder in Queens Park in May 2008 to raise funds for families affected by violent crime.
The charity organises events all year round with the backing of Dame Elish Angiolini, Elaine C Smith and Angela Rippon/
Marek Harcar was jailed for a minimum of 25 years for her murder, which left an indelible mark on the city.
Moira’s mother Bea said Glasgow rallied round and cared for her family in the wake of her death.
