A MAN'S body has been discovered in a graveyard in Glasgow's East End.

The shock discovery was made yesterday afternoon in the Tullis Street Memorial Garden in Bridgeton.

Police cordoned off the area and said they were treating the death as unexplained.

The Evening Times understands that a private ambulance was also at the scene. 

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “At around 3.45pm the body of a man was discovered in a grassed area on Tullis Street, Bridgeton, on September 11, 2018.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are being carried out.”
