Glasgow funnyman Gary Meikle has gone viral on social media with a rant about women's obsession with their eyebrows.

The comedian, who is well known in the Glasgow comedy circuit, video on eyebrows has had more than half a million views since it was uploaded on to Facebook a few days ago.

He begins his sketch by talking about his 23-year-old daughter's obsession with eyebrows before making the point that men don't care about the facial feature.

He said: "I have got a 23-year-old daughter, who still lives at home, and the toughest part about that without a shadow of a doubt is having a constantly daily reminder to reassure her that her eyebrows are banging.

"What has happened ladies? When did eyebrows become the most important part of a woman’s body?"

The rant has captured the imagination of Gary's fans who have shared the clip over 15,000 times.

One said: "Mate this is amazing, high five."

Another added: "Please god let some girls/women watch this video and realise how pathetic this eyebrow s**t really is - men DON'T care, lots of women don't either! Too big, too dark, too flipping straight, and eyebrows should never have corners! Give it a rest."
