DARREN 'Loki' McGarvey is the latest name to be announced for the Glasgow leg of Sleep in the Park.
The writer and rapper, who recently won the prestigious Orwell Prize, will be performing a bedtime story he has written for the sleepover on December 8 at the Kelvingrove Bandstand.
He is the second bedtime story performer to be announced for the Social Bite charity event, with acclaimed author Irvine Welsh reciting his own bed time story to participants in Edinburgh on the same night.
Darren said: “Sleep in the Park is a brilliant fundraising event that raises much needed funding to support the homeless across Scotland.
"I feel very privileged to be involved in the Social Bite project in my home city of Glasgow and look forward to performing to the thousands braving the cold at Kelvingrove.”
