UNDER threat arts venue CCA finally has a provisional opening date following the Glasgow School of Art (GSoA) fire.
Bosses had spoken of being on a "financial knife edge" after the hit taken by being forced to close.
They said council bosses had reneged on a pledge to get them back into the building in early September.
Now it has been announced that the venue should, if all goes to plan, open on Monday, October 15.
Ailsa Nazir, Head of Operations at CCA, said: "It's incredibly helpful for us to have a date to work towards reopening CCA.
"We've been overwhelmed by the support we've had from our event partners, funders and the public, and are so happy to have a provisional schedule for access to the building.
"Thank you to absolutely everyone who has helped us over the past three months."
The new provisional opening date, which is subject to change, means all events scheduled until October 15 will have to postpone, cancel or move to new venues.
