KIND-HEARTED Leigh Griffiths said sorry to a young Celtic fan he accidentally 'skelped' with a football - by offering his Hoops jersey as a geasture of goodwill.
The Celtic favourite carried out the act of kindness at the weekend and the moment was captured on social media.
A video by fan Raised on Celtic was posted to Twitter and said: "Massive thanks to Leigh Griffiths. Skelped the wee man a heavy one with a ball in the warm-up. Came across to make sure he was ok and said, "You get me here at full-time".
"Despite the result. he was true to his word. Four more years banging in goals and making dreams come true."
Celtic drew against St Mirren on Friday night and Griffiths also recently signed a deal to stay at Celtic for four more years.
One fan said: "The boy is a class act."
Another added: "Hail hail, nice one!"
Griffiths, 28, is a father-of-five.
