A yellow weather warning has been issued for Wednesday across Scotland as strong winds are set to batter the UK.
As the remnants of Storm Helene heads straight for us, the Met Office have warned of 50-60mph winds which could cause damage to buildings across Glasgow and the rest of the country.
Between 6am and 10pm, they have issued the warning which warns of transport disruptions, damage to buildings, possible powercuts as well as road closures.
This news comes after forecasters downgraded the risk to life threat.
