POLICE are carrying out enquiries after the body of a man was found in a wooded area in North Lanarkshire.
The 63-year-old was discovered in near Whinhall Road on Monday night.
His death is currently being treated as “unexplained.”
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A post mortem will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death.
“However, the death is being treated as unexplained and a full report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
