Fans of Wagamama's famous katsu curry will be excited to find out that the restaurant chain are launching a limited edition sauce this week.
In conjunction with National Katsu Curry Day, the Japanese favourite will be altering their untouched curry sauce recipe to bring hungry customers a much more firey version of the popular classic.
Created in 1992, the sauce is often paired with crispy chicken and sticky rice, and is mild enough that they do a children's version.
our classic #katsucurry sauce has remained untouched since we opened in 1992. until now. to celebrate national katsu curry day on sep 27, we created a firey new sauce. available from 20–27 sep only. will you be a hot #katsuconvert or is it a #katsuclassic for you?🔥🌶#nkcd pic.twitter.com/Agk2UNRdLD

However, the masters behind the delicious dish have upped the spice for one week only.
Starting this Thursday (September, 20) and running until the following Thursday - which is National Katsu Curry Day - customers will be able to try the sauce and decide if they prefer the added heat.
