A MAN has been shot in Glasgow's East End.
Cops have launched an investigation following the incident in Tollcross which happened at around 11pm on Tuesday.
The man was shot at a flat in Cuthelton Terrace.
The force did not confirm if attack happened inside the property or outside.
The 38-year-old victim is now in hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
He is in a serious but stable condition.
Police Scotland said its investigation is underway.
A spokeswoman said: "Police were called to a report of a man injured following a shooting incident at a flat in Cuthelton Terrace, Glasgow, at around 11pm on Tuesday, September 18.
"Police and ambulance attended, and a 38-year-old is being treated for his injuries.
"Hospital staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
"Enquiries are underway."
