A CAR and a van have crashed in Glasgow's East End.
Firefighters, cops and paramedics rushed to the scene after 11am today.
It is understood that there was one person taken into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service. No further details were given on their age, sex or condition.
A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 11.23am on Wednesday, September 19 to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a van on Carntyne Road, Glasgow
“Operations Control mobilised three fire engines to the scene, where firefighters extricated one casualty before transferring them into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
