A NEW mural featuring some of comic genius Stan Lee's greatest characters has popped up in the Gorbals area of the city.
The art work was created by Danny McDermott who is better known by his street artist name EJEK.
It features 22 superheroes including Spiderman, Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk and The X-Men.
The painting can be viewed on the Barn Youth Centre wall on Cumberland Street.
Street artist Danny also teaches art to the young people at the youth centre, which is run by Crossroads Youth and Community Association.
He was one of the artists who contributed to the Clutha art project which features images of Billy Connolly, Jimmy Reid and Spike Milligan on the the walls of the tragedy-hit pub.
The tribute to Stan Lee comes after his death last month.
The former Marvel Comics president was 95.
Lee created The Fantastic Four for Marvel Comics in 1961 and went on to create titles including Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk.
He was also known for making a cameo in almost every Marvel film.
Despite leaving the Marvel company in 1972, he remained chairman emeritus.
