Extensive searches and enquiries are continuing to help trace a missing 71-year-old with dementia.
Police have asked members of the public to refrain from organising their own searches for the man as they make plans to search the area with the Dog Branch.
Allan Burns has been missing since around 3.15pm on Friday, January 18 when he was last seen on the cycle path close to his home in Kilbarchan, heading towards Lochwinnoch.
Following a number of possible sightings, cops are currently searching the surrounding areas for Mr Burns, with fears growing for his safety.

Members of the public have been keen to get involved in the search and liased with police in their efforts to trace the man.
However, officers have now encouraged members of the public to refrain from conducting their own searches due to the difficult rural terrain and weather conditions.
A detailed search strategy has been drawn up by a Police Scotland search advisor and is being methodically followed by a number of specialist resources, including the Dog Branch.
Police said they remain concerned about the man's safety and well-being and encourage anyone who may have seen him or have knowledge of his current whereabouts to get in touch by calling 101.
