Multiple cars were involved in a pile-up on a busy Glasgow motorway this afternoon as football fans headed to Rangers' clash against St Mirren.
The incident took place around 1.30pm this afternoon on the M77 near Darnley.

Traffic Scotland reported that traffic travelling northbound between junction 3 and 4 was affected as emergency crews rushed to the scene.

Witnesses reported that as many as seven cars involved in the accident with many taking to Twitter to ask for updates on the incident.

Football fans were told to plan ahead for this afternoon's game at Ibrox after several streets were closed due to a fire near the stadium.
