A LANARKSHIRE chippy has unveiled an Easter version of the deep fried Mars Bar - a battered Creme Egg.
The calorific treat is available at takeaway Off The Hook in Airdrie.
Staff say they tasked customers with coming up with a new addition to the menu to celebrate five years since opening.
The result was deep fried Creme Eggs - which will be on sale until Easter.
Despite the restaurant only making the announcement on March 15, the eggs have quickly gained interest and popularity on social media.

The restaurant is well known for its deep-fried creations. Just a few months ago, in December, staff offered a deep-fried Oreo which had local customers queuing past the door.
If social media is any indication, the eggs are set to be a hit.
