Plans to open a drive-thru Starbucks in Glasgow's East End have been abandoned.
The application had detailed plans to turn the land on Alexandra Parade, which is currently being used as a car wash into, a place to grab coffee on the go, which would have a drive through lane and parking on site.
Developers said that if it was approved the new facility will create up to 20 new permanent jobs at the site as well as complimenting the existing commercial premises.

However, the plans have now been axed after issues were raised about the suitability of the location.
Transport officials were concerned about the proposed arrangements for vehicles entering and exiting the site.
Glasgow City planning bosses said they didn't believe a resolution could have been found and a number of objections from local residents had also been received.
