A HUGE plume of smoke has been seen over Glasgow after a fire broke out at an industrial estate.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said a "large quantity" of barrels had been alight on Barfillan Drive, in Craigton.
Four fire engines were deployed to the scene after locals reported seeing thick black smoke from as far as Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Eyewitness Michael McLaughlin said: "It looked like the smoke was coming from an industrial estate.
"The black smoke turned to white once the fire was put out."

A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "SFRS were alerted at 6.26pm on Monday, May 13, to a large fire in an open area of Govan in Glasgow.
"Operations control mobilised four fire engines to Barfillan Drive where firefighters were met by a large quantity of barrels on fire.
"Firefighters currently remain on the scene."
