POLICE have closed off sections of Glasgow City Centre after receiving a report that a teenager was raped.
The Evening Times was first to report early this morning how two areas in the centre were sealed off amid an ongoing incident.

Renfrew Lane, behind the Pavilion Theatre, has been taped off by police, with officers in vehicles stationed at each end.
A section of Hope Street, at the Savoy Centre, has also been cordoned off with more police stationed at this area.

It is understood the areas were closed off on Monday night after the incident was reported to the force.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told the Evening Times: “Enquiries are ongoing after a report that a 17-year-old female was the subject of a serious sexual assault on the evening of Friday, May 17.”
