A FOUR-car crash and breakdown near Glasgow Airport are causing delays for commuters.
The incidents have taken place on the M8 eastbound at junctions 27.
Traffic Scotland first raised the crash incident on Twitter at 9am

The team wrote: “#M8 eastbound J27 Paisley - a 4 car RTC is causing delays near Glasgow Airport, traffic back to J29 St James.”
It was later cleared. However, a breakdown has since taken place in the area also.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We were called at 8.45am to a report of a road traffic collision involving four vehicles on the M8 eastbound near to Glasgow Airport."
There were no reports of any injuries and the road is now clear.
It is understood that the drivers exchanged details.
The Evening Times has also contacted the Scottish Ambulance Service.
