An empty shop unit in Trongate could be turned into a two-storey pizza restaurant.
Project Pizza have applied for permission to open a second restaurant in Glasgow's city centre - before their first has even opened.
The company have earmarked 174 Trongate - between McDonald's and Tesco - as their second location.
Plans reveal that the ground floor would have seating for 50 while upstairs would have space for a further 136 people.

It would open to the public between 8am and midnight, seven days a week.
The restaurant would run over two floors with a bar and dessert counter with running 'chocolate taps'.
A statement by consultants Iceni, said: “The proposal will have a positive impact on the vitality and viability of this part of Trongate and the wider City Centre, and will see the reuse of a vacant unit.”

Project Pizza was previously given permission to open a branch in an empty shop at the corner of Renfield Street, at Renfield Lane.
