A Scottish soldier has tragically died after falling from a hotel balcony in Poland.
It is understood that corporal Ryan Lovatt, 25, was on holiday in Warsaw when he was killed earlier this month.
The Ministry of Defence said the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers serviceman died on August 1.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is being carried out by Polish military police.
His dad Colin previously paid tribute on social media to his "beautiful boy".
His tribute was followed by hundreds of messages from well-wishers. One said: "No parents should have to endure the pain you will be feeling."
Corporal Lovatt, from Torrance, was given a full military funeral at Clydebank Crematorium on Wednesday.
An MOD spokesman told The Sun said: “We can confirm an incident occurred in Warsaw on August 1 in which a service person from the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers has died.
“An investigation by the Polish police supported by the Royal Military Police is underway, therefore it is inappropriate to comment further."
