PEOPLE in Glasgow stood in solidarity to raise awareness on the brutality ongoing in Kashmir.
The rally took place on Sunday in George Square, where protesters marched around the city centre to raise their concerns on oppression.
Event organiser and President of Scottish Human Right, Dr. Hussain Javed Gill, 67, from Glasgow said: “We are spreading as much awareness for this as possible and are elected members of the Parliament and councillors of Glasgow.
"They are politicians who are in a position of influence.”
A Scottish Government spokesperson said: “We are seriously concerned about the current situation in Kashmir, including reports of excessive use of force, large-scale detention, restrictions on communications and freedom of movement.”
