TV hunk Calum Best sampled one of Glasgow’s most famous chippies – by tucking into a fish supper.
The son of the late footballing legend George Best officially opened the Blue Lagoon on Argyle Street on Friday afternoon to celebrate its new look after a makeover.
Posing for selfies with adoring fans, Calum even got behind the fryer to as he jokingly served up chips with staff.
The chip shop has been in the city for more than 40 years and recently underwent a makeover.
The capacity has almost doubled in size from 45 to 80 seats.
The total cost of the chip shop’s upsizing, growing into an adjacent unit, was expected to come to £500,000, and will create 20 new jobs.
American-born model Best, 38, is best known for his roles in reality TV shows Celebrity Big Brother and Famously Single.
