HEAVY rain has flooded the railway line in Glasgow's South Side.
Network Rail say they have a team between Glasgow Central and Pollokshields who will be using pumps to clear the flooded line.
Services, however, are expected to be affected until lunchtime.
Network Rail added that they have removed 12,000 gallons of water so far but it hasn't been enough to allow normal service.
A ScotRail spokesman said: "We've had reports of flooding in the Muirhouse area between Glasgow Central and Pollokshields East therefore the Glasgow Central to Barrhead service will be reduced to an hourly service, departing Glasgow Central at 57 minutes and from Barrhead at 27 minutes past the hour.
"From 07:15 the Glasgow Cathcart Inner and Outer Circle services will be suspended to ease congestion in the area."
