TRANSPORT cops will set up a metal-detecting 'knife arch' in Glasgow's West End.
British Transport Police confirmed that they will be at Partick station tonight which has connections to ScotRail services as well as Glasgow Subway.
Their operation will run between 7 pm and 9 pm.

In a statement on Twitter, the force said: "Scottish officers will be deployed to Partick between 7 pm and 9 pm utilising our knife arch.
"Don't panic! It's for public reassurance and to make everyone's Xmas nights out that little bit safer."
