Fire crews are in attendance at a burning building in Glasgow city centre.
The Glasgow Times counts at least 10 appliances that have been scrambled to Pitt Street, at the junction with Sauchiehall Street.
Crews descended on the scene at around 2am.
Firefighters are also using a height appliance to inspect flats further up the building.
Others with breathing apparatus have been seen entering the building at the Krave restaurant.
Smoke can be seen billowing out of the first floor window above Krave.
Police and ambulance crews are also in attendance.
Officers have since cordoned off the junction, splitting Sauchiehall Street in two at Pitt Street.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service tweeted at 3.30am: "Our crews are presently working to contain and extinguish a fire that has taken hold within a building in Pitt Street, Glasgow.
"A total of six fire appliances and a height appliance have been mobilised to the scene".
