PLANS have been submitted for a full-sized indoor training facility at Celtic's current Barrowfield Centre on London Road.
The final designs were sent to Glasgow City Council's planning department for approval on Tuesday.
If given the green-light, a structure enclosing a full 105x68-metre pitch would be built, along with an extended car park.
A new changing facility and gym are the subject of a separate planning application.

A design statement reads: “It is anticipated that the facility will not significantly impact on either existing residents, amenity or traffic.
“Rather the proposal will enhance the facilities on offer at the training ground, allowing the football club to maintain their training programme for all academy groups whatever the weather, which in turn will bring improved opportunities for health and well-being.”
