The man left with a "life-changing" brain injury after being run over by Rangers legend Ally McCoist's son has settled a personal injury claim for an undisclosed sum.
Stephan Murdoch, 24, started the civil action after being run over when Argyll McCoist's sports car hit him in December 2016.
The case related to damages for the injuries suffered as well the costs of necessary ongoing treatment and loss of earnings.
A trial was due to take place in January 2020, however, parties reached an out-of-court settlement last month.
Chris Stewart, Partner at Digby Brown Solicitors and Head of the Serious Injury department, said: “Mr Murdoch suffered injuries that will adversely impact the rest of his life.
“He has shown tremendous fortitude throughout and I am proud that we have been able to help as he looks to the future.
"Mr Murdoch offers his thanks to everyone who provided support over the last three years but he has now requested privacy as he moves forwards.”
