A new report has revealed that Queen Elizabeth University Hospital has the worst accident and emergency waiting times in Glasgow for seeing patients within a standard time limit.
Fresh IDS Scotland statistics reveal that 31.9% of patients attending the accident and emergency department in November last year were seen outwith the four-hour target.
There were 8,379 attendances throughout the department in November, with only 68.1% being admitted, transferred or discharged within the required time.
A total of 404 patients had to wait more than eight hours, with 84 other patients waiting more than 12 hours.
Compared to November 2018, the hospital has seen a drop of 16% of patients being admitted, transferred or discharged within the required time frame at the department.
IDS figures also revealed that NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde was the second-worst performing health board in Scotland of seeing patients within the target period. A total of 14.5% of patients across Glasgow had to wait more than four hours.
Scottish Conservative health spokesman Miles Briggs said: "These figures are a truly shocking indictment of the SNP's management of our NHS.
"These dreadful statistics are the result of the SNP's decisions to reduce capacity and staff numbers within our NHS.
"Hospital staff are clearly unable to cope and the result on morale is devastating.
"It is becoming clearer by the day that the SNP cannot be trusted to run our NHS."
Scottish Labour health spokeswoman Monica Lennon accused the Scottish Government of complacency.
She said: "SNP ministers can't keep ignoring that pressure on A&E is increasing and patients are waiting longer.
"Experts have been warning for months about a lack of preparedness in our NHS for winter pressures.
"NHS staff are being pushed to breaking point and our hospitals are struggling like never before."
She added: "The SNP must explain why the A&E waiting time target has not been met in two whole years.
Since 2007, the national standard for accident and emergency is that 95% of patients in hospitals are to wait no longer than four hours from arrival to admission, discharge or transfer for treatment.
