Sickening graffiti telling people to "kill all huns" has been popping up across a Lanarkshire town.

Police have hit out at the "offensive" vandalism in Hamilton, with one also reading "f**k all huns". 

Lanarkshire Police division shared images showing separate incidents of graffiti in the area, including one on the wall of a church.

A spokesperson for the force said: "There has been an increase of inflammatory and offensive vandalism's across the Hamilton area at great cost to property owners and South Lanarkshire Council.

"Police Scotland requests any information which would assist in their enquiries.

"Please call 101 with information."
