A MAN has been arrested and charged after a hot drink was allegedly thrown at a player during Motherwell v Rangers last month.
Police Scotland said that they arrested a 30-year-old in connection with the incident involving Rangers star Alfredo Morelos on Sunday, December 15.
He is expected to appear in Hamilton Sheriff Court on January 29.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police can confirm a 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident at the Motherwell v Rangers SPFL match on Sunday, December 15.
"During the match, a hot drink was thrown at a player.
"The man is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on January 29."
