Kieran Tierney caught up with superstar pal Conor McGregor after the Irish fighter earned a technical knockout win over Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 last weekend.
The Notorious made quick work of Cowboy in Las Vegas, sparking him out with a high-kick in less than a minute. It was McGregor's first fight in the Octagon in over 15 months after his submission loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018.
McGregor - who recently admitted ex-Celtic defender Tierney was his favourite footballer - was delighted to pose with the Arsenal star. And KT was quick to share it on his Instagram.
Posting the snap, Tierney tagged McGregor and said: "Congratulations hero... still the bread".
His post racked up more than 111,000 likes and comments. Even some more famous faces were happy to acknowledge the friendship including former teammate Scott Sinclair.
Irishman McGregor took just 40 seconds to dispose of Cowboy Cerrone and went straight into calling out potential opponents like Jorge Masvidal and Kamaru Usman - current UFC champion at welterweight.
