We had our first introduction to the food and drink at Ka Pao this week as the new creation from the team that brought you Ox and Finch opened on Vinicombe Street.
There was scenes of genuine excitement as the first dishes were revealed from their much-anticipated Southeast Asian menu.

A gently warming sea trout curry, with crab, krachai, coconut and lemongrass (£14) Fried chicken in a spicy caramel glaze (£6) Wok-steamed mussels in a chilli jam with Thai basil (£7.50) The simple but impressive corn ribs dressed with salted coconut, soy and lime (£4.50).
