A man was assaulted by two men outside a subway station in the South Side on Friday afternoon.
He was rushed to the hospital for treatment after the police were called to the scene in Woodville Street at 3.55pm.
Police cordoned off Ibrox Subway Station as they investigated the attack.
The condition of the man remains unknown but his injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.

The force is appealing for information about the suspected attackers.
One of the men is described as being 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, while the other was 5ft 8in and of slim build.
They were both wearing a dark coloured cagoule style jacket with the hood up and dark trousers.
The shorter man also had a scarf covering his face.
Detective Sergeant Ainsley Clark said: " The victim was walking Woodville Street in the direction of the subway station at Copeland Road when he was approached by the two men.
"I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch with Police Scotland on 101, quoting 2358 of 31 January, 2020 speak to any police officers."

Previously, a spokeswoman for the force confirmed the incident and said: "Police were called around 3.55pm on Friday, January 31, to reports that a man had been injured following an assault on Copland Road, close to Ibrox Subway Station.
"The man was taken to hospital for his injuries which were not thought to be life-threatening.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
