A woman has been found dead near to a block of flats in the South Side of Glasgow.
Emergency crews were alerted to the discovery shortly before 7am this morning.
Police responded to 70 Kennishead Avenue where the 56-year-old woman's body was discovered.
Pictures from the scene show forensics crews in white overalls scouring the scene, with a tent set up in an alleyway to the rear of the block.

The cause of death has not yet been made clear.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed: "Officers in Glasgow received a report at around 6.55am of a sudden death of a 56-year-old woman at Kennishead Avenue.
"Enquiries are ongoing"
