The film was partly filmed in Govan's Graving Docks
War epic 1917, co-written by Glaswegian Krysty Wilson-Cairns, has scooped three awards at this year's Oscars.
Partly filmed in Govan's Graving Docks and directed by Sam Mendes, the war drama won this year's Sound Mixing, Cinematography and Visual Effects awards.
The epic was also nominated under Best Director, Best Picture, Original Score, Sound Editing, Production Designs, Makeup and Hairstyling and Original Screenplay.
Just earlier this month, 1917 also bagged seven Bafta awards.

Writer Krysty Wilson-Cairns, who penned the script with Sir Sam earlier paid tribute to the 1,200-stong British crew members as well as the film's British actors.
