PRIMARY pupils will receive advice on stranger danger after police were called in over concerns about a man hanging around near their school premises.
The Glasgow Times understands that police were contacted about the man who is accused of being in the vicinity of Hillington Primary School. It is understood parents spotted him several times outside the school last week and were alarmed by his presence.
Glasgow City Council confirmed that police were informed and they advised the local authority that no criminality had taken place.

A spokesman said: "There were reports of an (uncorroborated) incident outside Hillington Primary recently. Police were informed and have now advised that no criminality has taken place.
"In response to these reports, a letter is being sent to carers/parents advising them that the school’s teachers have reiterated the stranger danger message to pupils, and asking that this message be discussed at home and that normal vigilance continues when dropping off and picking up children at school."
The Glasgow Times understands that community police officers will be at the school today to discuss any further concerns that parents may have.
