A PLUME of black smoke was seen over a block of flats in a recent two-car crash on a quiet residential street.
Residents took to social media to express their shock at the column of smoke rising above a three-storey complex in Barmulloch.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Zena Street where two cars had been involved in a collision.

Locals posted photographs of the dramatic incident to Facebook.
One picture showed a car engulfed in flames, the source of the pillar of thick smoke.
Police and the fire service attended the crash at 3:20pm yesterday and confirmed no one had been injured.
Police Scotland have confirmed no arrests were made.
