A MAN has died following a smash on the M8 in Glasgow last night.
The 41-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics after being hit by a motor at around 7.25pm.
He was walking near to the slip from the M77 when he was struck by a Vauxhall Astra.
The 36-year-old driver was uninjured and a full report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Cops investigating the incident are appealing for any witnesses with dashcam footage to come forward.

Sergeant Jon Mochan, from Glasgow’s Road Policing Unit, based in Helen Street, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact us, or anyone who seen a man walking on the motorway, as they may have information that will assist our investigation.
"I am also keen to hear from any drivers who were on the road at the time who have dash-cam footage. This footage will also assist our ongoing enquiries into this crash.”
