A city centre pub has scooped a top tourist industry award.
The Pot Still in Hope Street was named Best Bar or Pub at the Scottish Thistle Awards.
The bar famous for its whisky selection took the prize ahead of pubs across Scotland.
The Visit Scotland awards recognise hospitality businesses for their service, staff, friendliness and contribution to the tourism economy.

Frank Murphy, Pot Still licensee, said “On behalf of The Pot Still, our incredible staff and customers, we are so grateful to have our passion and hard work recognised by the Scottish Thistle Awards and will continue to prove ourselves as worthy winners of this award.”
Judges praised the bar for investing in its staff and for displaying their strong knowledge of whisky.
The bar stocks more than 750 whiskies.
VisitScotland Regional Leadership Director Jim Clarkson said: “It is fantastic that the city’s vibrant food and drink scene has been recognised.
“The impact of tourism goes far beyond the holiday experience. It is vital to the Scottish economy, reaching every corner of the country, creating jobs and bringing economic and social change.”
