FIRE thugs deliberately torched a vehicle causing another car to set alight.

Police are hunting for the men who got out of their own car to start the fire in Coatbridge's Muirdyke Road in the early hours of Monday morning.

At around 12.30 am a Ford Kuga car was deliberately set alight whilst parked outside a house on the road. This, in turn, caused the Ford Ka vehicle which was parked in front of the Kuga to catch fire.

Firefighters extinguished the fires which police are now treating as wilful.
