IT'S time to get excited; one of Scotland's best-loved bands has announced a Glasgow gig for later in the year.
Rockers Biffy Clyro will be playing in the city's SSE Hydro in October as part of their new UK, Europe, and Australia tour.
It will be the Kilmarnock trio's first UK arena tour since 2016 and will mark the release of their new album A Celebration of Endings.
In addition to the Glasgow September 26 date, Biffy will also be taking their tour to Aberdeen, Newcastle, and beyond. They will also play Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee this May.

A Celebration of Endings is the band’s eighth record and follows their previous two studio albums – Ellipsis (2016) and Opposites (2013) – both of which went straight to #1 on the Official Albums Chart.
“This is a very forward-looking album from a personal perspective and a societal perspective,” said frontman Simon Neil.
Fans who pre-order the album from the website by 4pm on Monday, March 16, will receive access to an exclusive pre-sale for tour tickets.
Tickets go on general sale from 10am on Friday, March 20, and can be bought here.
