TWO city theatres will remain open despite the current coronavirus outbreak.
The King’s Theatre and Theatre Royal Glasgow told customers that they will continue to operate as usual.
A statement from the entertainment venues said: “It is our understanding that as our venues do not require the attendance of emergency services all of the performances scheduled can continue as normal.
“At Ambassador Theatre Group we have been closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation. We have been working with Scottish and UK governments and medical authorities, and putting in place precautionary measures across all our UK venues.”
The venue said that customers should keep checking for the latest updates.
This week, The King’s was expected to host shows for Glasgow International Comedy Festival - but organisers announced that they were cancelling events.
