WITH Scottish football clubs still waiting on guidance from the SPFL on how - and if - the current season will be completed, there are number of big questions hanging over the future of our game.
Teams across Scotland are struggling to cope financially as the shutdown has brought all of sport to a grinding halt.
And even if the 2019/20 campaign is played out once the coronavirus crisis has died down, some teams could find themselves having to play their final games without some of their star players.
According to transfermarkt, there are eight Rangers players who might have kicked their last ball for the Ibrox club - because their deals expire at the end of the current season.
The SPFL campaign could be back under way by then but if it doesn't restart until June or even July, then all eight of the out-of-contract stars could have left Govan in search of a new club.
Here are the players that might not be seen in a Rangers shirt again:
Ianis Hagi - loan contract expires 30/06/2020
Sheyi Ojo - loan contract expires 31/05/2020
Florian Kamberi - loan contract expires 31/05/2020
Jon Flanagan - contract expires 31/05/2020
Andy Halliday - contract expires 31/05/2020
Wes Foderingham - contract expires 31/05/2020
Jason Holt - contract expires 31/05/2020
Jordan Rossiter - contract expires 31/05/2020
