A man has been seriously assaulted on Saturday evening in Cumbernauld.
The 27-year-old was rushed to Monklands and District General Hospital with serious injuries after the attack on Hornbeam Road.
Emergency services were rushed to the scene of the attack at 7pm on March 28.
His condition is described as stable.

Police investigations are ongoing and officers are treating the incident as a serious assault.
A spokeswoman for the force confirmed the attack and said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident which police are treating as a serious assault.”
