A BODY which washed ashore in Kilcreggan last week has been formally identified.
As reported by the Helensburgh Advertiser, police confirmed that 35-year-old Ryan Borland, from Glasgow, had been previously reported as missing.
His body was found in the water close to Shore Road in the village at around 11am on Tuesday, March 24.

Police and ambulance personnel attended the scene along with volunteers from Helensburgh's RNLI lifeboat and HM Coastguard.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal in order to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
