A 53-year-old man has been arrested in connection with smuggling firearms into the country.
Officers from the joint NCA and Police Scotland's Organised Crime Partnership (OCP) raided a property in Bishopsgate Gardens in the north of the city this morning, where they detained the man.
Their investigation follows the seizure of a disguised stun gun by Border Force officers carrying out checks on incoming mail.
Searing the property, officers identified two more stun guns, as well as three other weapons which have now been sent away for forensic analysis.

The man was charged with firearms offences and released on an undertaking to appear at Glasgow Sherrif Court on July 8.
John McGowan, operations manager for the OCP, said: “Today’s operation has seen a number of dangerous weapons taken out of circulation, and demonstrates our ongoing determination to protect the people of Scotland.
“The Organised Crime Partnership will continue to work with partners like Border Force to do just that.”
