THIEVES raided a home stealing hundreds of pounds worth of electronics and jewellery.
A flat on Meadowpark Street in the East End was targeted while its occupants were out.
The invaders helped themselves to a catalogue of items, including an engagement ring with
an emerald and two diamonds.
Also taken in the home invasion, which took place on Wednesday, April 8 after 6pm in Dennistoun, was a Nintendo Switch games console, a Lenovo laptop, a Macbook Pro laptop and Nikon D3400 camera with two lenses.
The victim, Holly Stevens took to social media to warn others in the area and urging people to keep an eye out for people attempting to sell the items online.
Her fiance, Jason said officers on the scene said crime scene investigators would visit but that never materialised.
Police are not sending out investigators to crime scenes because of the coronavirus outbreak, unless they believe there is a strong chance of them finding someone.
He said: "It sucks, Holly's very upset because the jewellery had a lot of sentimental value.
"She's pregnant, too, so it's not the best time to be stressing about stuff."
Holly had been left a diamond and emerald-studded engagement ring by her grandmother but thankfully had her own engagement ring on her person at the time of the robbery.
Neighbours reportedly heard a disturbance and saw three men running away from the building in the direction of Whitehill Pool and turn left on Ingleby Drive.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police were called around 6.50pm on Wednesday, April 8, to a report of a housebreaking at an address on Meadowpark Street, Glasgow.
“A number of items were taken and our inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 3126 of April 8.”
